Hotel Chocolat Serious Dark Fix Egg

Hotel Chocolat Serious Dark Fix Egg

And you should see the Easter eggs. Jesus. Two hundred tons of petrochemicals diverted from where they belong – in the tank of my car – to puff up a chocolate egg so small that it wouldn’t stretch the birthing muscles of a wren.

Jeremy Clarkson, Sunday Times

OK, with the Hotel Chocolat Serious Dark Fix Egg you do get a little ‘extra’ packaging. But then how exactly are you to package a fragile chocolate egg-shaped item that has to survive the handling of Her Majesty’s Postal service?

Mind you it is seriously thick. Dropping this little beaut is more likely to break a toe bone than the egg itself. Rather than a thin, measly, disappointing, empty shell you do get a serious amount of dark chocolate encasing a collection of little pralines.

The Hotel Chocolat Serious Dark Fix Egg – Extra Thick Dark Chocolate Easter Egg is available now for £20.

Coming Soon: Monkey’s Eagerly Anticipated Movie Debut!

A Tale of Two Continents - PG Tips promotionBritain’s favourite knitted chimp boldly goes where no monkey has gone before in ‘A Tale of Two Continents’, a romp through the history of tea. Monkey’s breathtaking performance takes the audience on an intriguing journey from ancient China to the modern day, right up to the Rainforest Alliance Certification of PG tips tea suppliers.

Excelling in his transition from your humble front room to the silver screen, Monkey stars as Shennong, legendary Emperor of China, a captain of a tea clipper and an intrepid jungle explorer…and most other roles, in fact. All this in a bid to inform his fellow tea drinkers about the intricacies of the much loved cuppa and what the Rainforest Alliance Certification really means.

‘A Tale of Two Continents’ is coming to a cinema near you from Friday 21 March to Thursday 10 April. The five-minute blockbuster will run before the family films The Spiderwick Chronicles, Horton Hears A Who, Gameplan and Hannah Montana.

And for those of you careless enough to miss this tour de force, you’re in luck. Being the generous type, Monkey is giving away a special edition DVD and movie souvenir tea towel on packs of PG tips throughout April.

Of his time on set Monkey sighed, ‘it was the best of times, it was the worst of times… but if an artiste has to kiss the leading lady to get his message across, then so be it.’

His dishes are based on classical French style and values but with a modern interpretation, typically involving less butter, cream and salt. He is noted for his impeccable and modern style presentation.
