Chester Food and Drink Festival
We are currently in the middle of the Chester Food and Drink Festival. Running until the 15th still leaves us a few days to explore its delights.
The French Market in the Town Hall Square (9.00am – 5.30pm) runs for the rest of the week while tomorrow there is a free wine tasting at The Falkner (48 Faulkner Street, Chester, CH2 3NP)
Please come down & taste our great wines from across the world, ranging from house favourites to more obscure fine wines. This is a totally free event & was a huge success last year. In association with Matthew Clark.
Various restaurants have offers and ’specials’ such as the De Vere St. Davids Park Hotel with a “Make 2 Courses into Three” deal while Thomas William (27, Bridge St Row East, Chester, CH1 1NW) has a Knife Sharpening Demo running through the day from 11.30am-4.30pm on Sunday.
