Christmas Deluxe at Covent Garden
If your gastronomic expectations this Christmas go further than roast turkey and brussel sprouts, then the special Christmas Food Market at Covent Garden should whet your appetite.
Gourmet is the name of the gamne here and will run for 12 Days, from the 12th until the 23rd of December in the East and West Piazzas. The event will showcase some of the UK’s finest food purveyors and producers.
So, what will there be? Well for starters, four-bird roasts, plum and figgy puddings, exquisite mince pies, mouth-watering chocolates, organic seasonal vegetables and fruits, smoked fish, oysters, Stilton, the best pork and cranberry pies and piping hot spiced cider… need we go on? Just remember, diets aren’t supposed to start until the New Year.
