Cooking With Booze

Cooking with BoozeA collection of recipes grouped under the Cooking With Booze title are available both for free on-line and as a paid for book.

The book has been compiled by George Harvey Bone, I use the word compiled rather than written as he didn’t create all the recipes himself rather culling them from many sources, including friends, other cookbooks, and the web, many having been altered in the process.

Recipes are grouped by liquid so you have recipes using wine (such as Moules à la Marinière, Huîtres au Champagne, Clams in Prosecco and Vin Santo and Prosciutto), beer (Beer Butt Chicken, Bierbrood, Chinese Beer Chicken, Potato Salad with Beer Dressing and Scotch Ale Spuds) and cider (Sausages in Cider, Cider Doughnuts and Cider Cupcakes). There is also rum (Rum Omelette, Rum Pie, Mojito Cupcakes), whisky, vodka and so on.

I much prefer a book to reading recipes on-line (even printing them off isn’t the same) so recommend buying the book from Amazon.co.uk for just £7.49.
