Edinburgh - most culinary city outside London
Edinburgh is a gastronomic hotspot! So goes the verdict of 90,000 independent reviews which has named the Scottish capital as the ‘most culinary city’ outside of London.
Over half of the 48 restaurants freatured in a new guide - Harden’s 2007 UK restaurant Guide (Amazon £7.25)- impressed. This compares with just 28% for second place Brighton. The top five are
- Edinburgh
- Brighton
- Leeds
- Manchester
- Nottingham
Elsewhere the Remy Martin Restaurant Awards has given Arbutus in London the best new restaurant award. (also see)
