Flavas of Peckham
Flavours of Peckham is less a high-minded culinary experience and more of a celebration of Peckham’s multi-ethinic heritage from the Caribbean, from West Africa and the Indian sub-continent. Festivities kick off on Friday with a spot of carol singing and fair rides before the event proper over the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday have:
• tasters from cooking demonstrations by Celia Francis and Sally Butcher (of Persepolis fame and author of Persia in Peckham)
• rethniceady steady style cook-offs
• fair trade market and arts and crafts stalls
• foody art workshops
• street performers and entertainers
• farmers market and food

Times: Friday December 7, 2pm to 4pm
Saturday December 8, 10am to 5pm
Sunday December 9, 10am to 3pm
