Flavour Sprays

Flavoursprays

Bizarre product of the week – flavour sprays or to use the American spelling FlavorSpray.

What I gather is that, as a way of loosing weight, you use these sprays to impart a flavour of a type of food. So you can buy a cheesecake spray or a banana split spray and, well, spray it.

By eliminating your toppings, gravies, dressings, and sauces the flavour spray provides the flavour that most diets are missing. No longer when you diet will you crave the sweet taste, or yearn for flavour when you count calories. Just spray our flavour spray and you will no longer need to satisfy your craving for flavour. Follow a low carb meal regimen, and allow flavour spray to add the toppings and sauce to your meal.

They have been created by an award winning American chef, David Burke. On of the suggested recipes states 6oz Grilled Steak with one spray of Teriyaki, 1 Cup of String Beans and one Spray of Pesto, 1 Small Salad and one spray of Parmesan Cheese.

They retail for £4.99 each with various special offers and pack prices. You can, if tempted, order on-line in the UK via the website. You can also, for £7.99, sign up for a years subscription to the chefs recipe newsletter.
