For many people the matching of food and wine can be an anxiety, the Wine and Spirit Education Trust has set up Food & Wine matching workshops to help you make the best combinations effortlessly.
Each workshop starts with an explanation of the principles behind food and wine combinations; which work and which don’t. Then the practical work begins,tasting examples of various food components – acidity, protein, spice, smokiness and sweetness – and finding out how, in practice, they react and interact with various wines.

Food & Wine Matching Workshops are from 6.30pm to 8.30pm (approx) and costs £55 per person
