Fortnum & Mason’s Exclusive 2010 Honey

The saying goes “as busy as a bee” and this is indeed true of Fortnum & Mason’s rooftop bees, whose late honey crop will inspire and delight with a unique flavour infused with late summer blooms. Priced at £12.95, the new Fortnum’s Bees honey is now available in store and online.

The urban bees reside in specially built hives on the rooftop of the Fortnum & Mason store in Piccadilly where they have been producing truly delicious honey since 2008. The bees forage in London’s parks and gardens resulting in a myriad of flavours, depth and freshness each season.

Such special honey deserves a good home, so Fortnum & Mason commissioned Helen Beard to create bespoke hand painted ceramic jars, based on the designs of the hives, especially for it. These are available in store and online for £150.

Fortnum & Mason will also be selling beeswax candles made from the hives available from November at £9.95.
