I wanted to introduce you to Good Natured, a pesticide residue free range of fruit and veg – grown in harmony with Mother Nature, using only natural predators (good bugs) to control pests (bad bugs) and disease. The whole range is both good natured by name, and good natured by nature as all packaging is fully compostable.
Currently in season we have Carrots. Carrots are a magnificently versatile vegetable and extremely good for you as they’re packed with vitamins and minerals including vitamins A & C, folate, beta-carotene and potassium. Naturally high in fibre, a single serving of only 80g forms part of your 5 A DAY.
They are widely available in most supermarkets.
For two delicious recipes using Good Natured Carrots see SpittoonExtra with Carrot Soup and Carrot Muffins.

One thing to consider about the compostable packaging for these products is that it is likely made with a polyester derived from corn and other plants that is grown with synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Organic gardeners will want to eat this product, but they should think twice before they put the packaging in their compost pile. Or at least use the compost on non-edible plants.
