Goose fat from the Merchant GourmetDelia did it with cranberries I believe. Now the goddess herself has championed the goose fat cause - and sales have duly rocketed.

All the major supermarkets have quoted rising sales of goose fat due to Nigella’smention of it “as the magic ingredient in any Christmas roast ” on BBC1’s Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

Waitrose and Tesco have both reported that sales of the product had more than doubled in the space of two weeks, with Sainsbury’s also saying pre-Christmas sales were strong.

Can you buy goose fat on-line? Who cares; it is probably too late to order for Crimbo anyway.

You can get Goose Fat online from Dordogne Direct - “Graisse d’Oie” - and yes it is the best thing for Roast Pots (although duck fat is also good)!

Im living in cambridge ontario/ recently moved here from Edinburgh I cannot purchase goose fat anywhere, can you help? Its the best fat for roasting potatoes !!!
