Kellogg’s Nature’s Pleasure
Now available in store a new range of ‘baked’ muesli.
“We’ve harvested nature’s finest muesli ingredients, like wholegrain oats, wheat and barley flakes. We gently bake these with honey and raw cane sugar to unlock a golden, toasted flavour like you’ve never tasted before. Then we add tasty fruit or chunky nuts (or both!) in ideal, flavour combinations to create four scrumptious mueslis, each with a mouth-wateringly delectable taste.
Nature’s Pleasure isn’t just incredibly delicious, it’s also a great start to your day. It’s high in fibre, very low in salt and contains wholegrains. Try a bowl of Nature’s Pleasure with ice cold milk, or take breakfast up a notch by trying it with natural yoghurt (It’s so good, you might be tempted to eat it right out of the box!).”
Four varieties are available – Almond, pecan & cashew, Almond, pecan and raisin, Raspberry and cherry and Apple & Blackcurrant from Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons, Budgens and Booths.
Kellogg’s have worked with celebrity chef Simon Rimmer from BBC2’s Something for the Weekend to create some original recipes using these new cereals. They include Nature’s Pleasure Mackerel, Butternut Squash Pie, Chocolate Cheesecake, Caramelised Eaton Mess and Nature’s Pleasure Rhubarb Crumble.
A take on the Rhubarb Crumble (using a mix of fruit) is detailed on SpittoonExtra. For a personal take on Nature’s Pleasure have a look at the CookSister review on her blog.

Recently tried the Almond, pecan and cashew variety of Nature’s Pleasure and really enjoyed it. I think it was on a special introductory offer. Now I am unable to locate it in my local supermarkets – none seems to stock it which is most annoying.
I live in Dumfries in SW Scotland.
