Lovers Marmite
Not entirely sure if you can actually purchase the latest Marmite limited edition in a heart box but that is what mine came in. Thanks to the generosity of a PR firm I have managed to get my grubby mits on the latest must have foodie item.
Yep, the humble jar of Marmite in a heart shaped red box.
As I am still munching my way through a jar of the original Marmite and have only just opened the 2nd jar of the Guinness version I was wondering what else one could use the nations most loved/most hated icon product apart from spreading it on toast. A message on the Foodari forum brought several responses including a link to a PDF download which offers a range of Marmite based recipes by Garry Rhodes.

I bet you can use it in stews and soups as an alternative or enrichment to stock. That’s what Vegemite often gets used for!
