The last time I had a decent roast potato must have been a Sunday roast at the parents; and mighty fine they were too. Never cook them myself so these Roast Potatoes basted in Goose Fat, new from McCain, might just find a regular spot in the freezer.
Unusually they have a wheat/rice flour coating or batter. This certainly results in a crunchy exterior but not exactly normal. (Unless you can tell me otherwise!) Not entirely sure either that I would have noticed anything distinctive from the Goose fat but they were light and fluffy inside and crunchily crisp on the outside.
Last Sunday they accompanied a Roasted Pork Loin with Apples and Chestnuts and Sautéed Kale nicely.
