Naked Wines Winemakers Tour

This month, Naked Wines is taking 20 of its independent winemakers, who have all been funded by Naked Wines, on a wine-tasting tour to cities across the country. The nationwide tour will showcase 100 wines which were made possible through Naked Wine funding. The remaining locations to be visited are

• London – 27th June. One Alfred Place.
• Bristol – 28th June. Brunel’s Old Station.
• Birmingham – 29th June. Maple House.
• Manchester – 30th June. The Studio.
• Leeds – 1st July. Royal Armouries Museum.
• Edinburgh – 2nd July. Our Dynamic Earth.

The tour will consist of a number of ‘pop-up’ wine tastings in the cities, as well as a ticketed event in the evening, which starts at 6.30 at the locations above. Customers will be able to sample plenty of the wines, and also chat to the winemakers who made them! There will also be plenty of food and nibbles too. As well as that, there will also be a blind-tasting table at each venue with 5 wines Naked Wines is thinking of stocking. People will be able to try and vote for their favourites – at the end of the week Naked Wines will announce the winner and put the wine live on the site to buy, via Naked MarketPlace.

Last but not least is the launching of the Naked Wines ‘Wine Demon’ app which will be available at the events for guests to try out, and will go live after the tour has finished. It is a social media app for wine lovers, allowing users to review wines by location and follow others who have similar wine tastes. We’re really interested in receiving people’s feedback on Wine Demon in advance of its launch, so if you were interested in taking a look at the app prior to that, then let me know and we can get it on your phone to give you a sneak preview! At the moment though, it’s only available on iPhone.

The tour should make for some really nice, fun evenings, with plenty of food and drink!
