Bertolli Pasta SaucesBertolli have released two new pasta sauces – Original (Inspired by Tuscany) and Garlic (Inspired by Puglia). Samples of both came our way earlier this week.

Bertolli pasta sauce in pouch is made with natural ingredients with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Simply stirred though some browned mince beef and the addition of a chopped pepper and served with pasta is made for a rather good supper. The only complaint is that it was a little too oily. Certainly rich and intense and quite sweet too – those Puglian tomatoes ripened in that Mediterranean sun I guess. That and the 4th ingredient being sugar. (Tomato Puree 80%, Tomatoes 10%, Onions, sugar…)
