Star In Major Organic Ad Campaign

Why I Love Organic is offering one lucky consumer the chance to star in a nationwide press advertising campaign.

Running throughout the summer, the competition is open to all organic food lovers. To enter, all you need to do is visit the Why I Love Organic facebook page upload a photo of yourself and share your reason for loving organic – it can be as simple or creative as you like! For inspiration, visit http://www.whyiloveorganic.co.uk/reasons where you’ll find a host of reasons from consumers and celebrities such as Sara Cox, Tom Aikens and Sarah Beeny.

The lucky winner will take part in a photo shoot in a London studio with a leading photographer and the winning face will then feature in a series of press adverts across major glossy women’s magazines from January 2012.

Catherine Fookes, Campaign Manager for Why I Love Organic says “This is an exciting opportunity for you to be the fresh new face of organic! The Why I Love Organic campaign aims to democratise organic and challenge the perception that organic is something only for evangelists or the well off – and what better way to do this than by using a real organic lover.

The current press ads feature a painter decorator and a pantomime cow and offer a new way of looking at organic. We are looking forward to reviewing all the entries and ultimately finding the campaign a fresh new face!”

The Why I Love Organic campaign is the first generic campaign for organic food and drink and has been funded by pledges from over 90 organic companies such as Green & Black’s, Rachel’s, Organix and Yeo Valley.

So if you’re passionate about organic and want to star in a nationwide ad campaign, simply visit the Why I Love Organic facebook page and upload your photo and reason for loving organic.
