This Valentine’s Day, the music video set to win over even the hardest of hearts is a song about the love story between a farmer and his cow!

“Our Love Is In Your cornflakes” – the music video ballad released by the World Society for the Protection of Animals – must surely be the biggest animal love song since Kermit the Frog sang Rainbow Connection to Miss Piggy in 1979.

The song is part of WSPA’s Not In My Cuppa campaign to stop plans for the UK’s first mega dairy which will see thousands of cows housed in concrete sheds and could result in serious environmental consequences and put hundreds of farmers at risk of going out of business. The issue will come to a head on March 8th when the planning application for the indoor farm at Nocton in Lincolnshire is decided.

The song is a love story between a farmer and his cow.

The farmer is played by comedy stalwart Kevin Eldon (Mongrels, IT Crowd, Black Books, Hot Fuzz) and the cow puppet has been built by the Mongrels team. Ruth Bratt (currently on BBC shows Mongrels and Fast and Loose) has recorded the cow’s voice. The film music has been composed by Banks and Wag, who have composed for such diverse programmes as Zingzillas (CBeebies TV show), the X Factor and the National Lottery.

Click here to be one of the first people in the world to watch the music video set to become the smash hit of Valentine’s Day 2011 and support the Not In My Cuppa campaign. By combining wine made with organic grapes and Green & Black’s organic chocolate, Bonterra has created a seasonal gift pack that’s perfect for this romantic day.

With the aroma of fresh strawberries plus a hint of elderflower and cherry blossom, the Bonterra Rosé 2009 is a dry wine that is guaranteed to provide an extra taste sensation this Valentine’s Day. The fruity and floral flavours will complement any plans on 14th February, so why not raise a glass and toast the occasion with your significant other.

The natural ingredients in both the wine and chocolate brings a certain luxury, elegance and class to the palate, and since both products are organic the gift pack can also add an element of a ‘green’ feel-good factor.

Available exclusively at Tesco stores nationwide for a limited time only, the gift pack includes one bottle of Bonterra Rosé and two 35g bars of Green & Black’s chocolate, one a delicious bar of milk chocolate and the other a mouth-wateringly tasty bar of white chocolate.

As a nod to the Saint of love, Yummy Yorkshire has created a heavenly blend of fresh strawberry ice cream with dark chocolate chips; aptly named ‘Strawberry Love’.

The flavour combines two well known aphrodisiacs; dark chocolate, which contains natural stimulants and mood lifting substances, and strawberries, the symbol of Venus the goddess of love, due to their heart shape and luscious red colour.

Louise Holmes of Yummy Yorkshire who is responsible for ice cream production says: “We believe that Valentine’s Day is perfect for bringing people together to share intimate moments and what better way to do so than with some decadent ice cream. We’re sure our ‘Strawberry Love’ flavour will appeal to ice cream aficionados and lovers everywhere this Valentine’s Day.”

The ice cream is available to buy from the Yummy Yorkshire Ice Cream Parlour on the cone and also in 500ml pots priced at £3.25 for a limited time only.

Yummy Yorkshire is also taking advantage of Valentine’s Day to launch a bespoke ice cream flavour service for couples who want to serve a unique dessert at their wedding reception. To date, one-off flavours that have been created for special occasions include ‘Elderflower & Blackberry’ and ‘Lavender & Honey’.
