18th Cornwall Wine and Food FairThe 2011 Cornwall Wine Fair is being held at one of the region’s premier venues, The China Fleet Country Club, Saltash on Tuesday and Wednesday March 8th and 9th. Just ten minutes from Plymouth overlooking the Tamar the club offers visitors a spectacular location and ample free parking. Taking Centre Stage at this year’s event are some of the leading winemakers and growers from around the world and Castang Wine Shippers staff will be giving some expert advice on wine selections.

Organised and hosted by Castang Wine Shippers of Looe, one of UK’s leading independent wine merchants, the fair has a reputation for being a great day out and gives guests the opportunity to sample wines from around the world in a relaxing setting. Expert wine makers will be on hand including Luis Marculeta, producer of Rioja and Navarra wines; Cyrus Tchahardehi representing his Burgundy and Beaujolais houses; Frederic Maurin from Cave de Sigoules in Bergerac and Socave in Bordeaux; Francois Lieubeau Muscadet producer.

One of the largest free tasting events in the UK will include wines from the best up and coming regions in both Europe and the new world.
