Villa Maria has recently partnered up with luxury travel company Journeys of Distinction, to put together an exciting new wine holiday package to New Zealand. To celebrate this new partnership Journeys of Distinction and Villa Maria are running an in-store neck-collar competition on-shelf now. The top prize is a pair of tickets for this new trip to New Zealand, worth over £9,000. Ten runners-up will win a 12 bottle case of Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc.
Journeys of Distinction specialise in luxury holidays that offer small group tours the chance to experience the trip of a lifetime in some of the world’s most spectacular destinations, staying at some of the best hotels and encompassing culture, history, local life, adventure and relaxation.
When Journeys of Distinction wanted to find a partner to help them design a new wine holiday to New Zealand, they looked no further than Villa Maria, New Zealand’s most awarded winery for over 30 years.
The new ‘Villa Maria Tour of New Zealand Wineries’ is a 24 day trip that encompasses the length and breadth of New Zealand’s North and South islands. Twelve of the country’s most highly respected wineries are visited, with Villa Maria’s stunning Marlborough and Auckland wineries topping the bill. Exclusive to this tour, visitors are given hands on experience in Villa Maria’s wineries and vineyards. Amongst the wine tasting and foodie highlights, the tour also includes visits to many of the natural wonders that New Zealand has to offer. Full details of the trip can be downloaded from the Journey’s of Distinction website – www.jod.uk.com.
The neck collars have been placed on 240,000 bottles of Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc, which are on shelf now in National and Independent retail. Consumers are directed to enter the competition online via a dedicated website – www.winvillamaria.co.uk. The competition will be running until the end of May this year when the lucky winners will be drawn at random.
Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc is available from £8.49 at Tesco, Sainsburys Waitrose, Asda, Majestic, Budgens, Booths and many good Independent Retailers.
