WineDater is very excited to be running its first event in the heart of the City and, against the run of play, are pleased to announce they are completely ignoring the marketing gimmick that is Valentine’s.

WineDater’s Managing Director, Nic Greaves says,” You don’t need 14th Feb to have fun and meet someone new. You need a great place, relaxed atmosphere and of course – being introduced to lots of lovely like-minded people. That’s what WineDater offers and there won’t be a rosé wine in sight!”

The evening starts in the bar at 7pm and guests are invited to come along for a drink or two before the main event starts at 8pm. The format will follow the success of recent WineDater events – daters sit together in small groups, which change for each wine every leisurely 10 minutes so they get to meet everybody without the usual rushing around to the sound of whistles. Once again, for entertainment (and of course education!), WineDater’s Nic and Nige will battle it out to convince guests that theirs is the best palate – with daters having to decide who is telling the truth and who is bluffing. As usual, the WineDater who gets the most right wins a bottle of Champers.

WineDater only show quality wines and really do aim for guests to leave, if not with someone on their arm, then at least knowing a little more about wine than when they arrived.
