World’s Rarest Caviar

Almas cavairThey seemed a little reticent, reluctant almost, in sending samples of ‘the rarest and finest caviar in the world’; not surprising seeing the price. But one can but ask…

“Caviar House & Prunier have just received delivery (one of only a few a year) of the rarest and finest caviar in the world - The Almas. Once reserved for the Tsars of Russia, these much sought after ‘golden’ eggs are packed in 50g (£920) and 250g (£4,600) gold tins, complete with a golden spoon and encased in a limited edition veneered wooden humidor.

Almas caviar comes from the eggs of the rare albino sturgeon or an Oscietra sturgeon over 80 years old (eggs become larger and lighter the older the species), with a delicate, light and creamy flavour this rare treat is the ultimate for any caviar connoisseur.”
