Xotiq Foods is serving up a recipe for success with a range of dinner kits that will enable even inexperienced home chefs to cook a complete South East Asian meal with confidence in just 30 minutes.
Prepared with the help of BBC ‘Masterchef’ finalist Daksha Mistry, each Xotiq kit contains all the key ingredients for an authentic Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian or Thai meal, including spices, dipping sauces, chutney, fragrant rice, crackers and even stock – the cook needs only to add a favourite meat, fish or vegetables.
Underwhelmed by the quality of supermarket take home curries, conventional cook-in sauces and simple spice pastes, Xotiq’s creators spent two years developing their easy-to-prepare pack for time-poor professionals who love fine food.
And there’s much more on the Xotiq Foods menu than carefully selected and ethically sourced ingredients: accompanying instructions include everything from the cooking method for each dish and how to prepare perfect rice, to table decoration tips and the best wines to complement the meal.
The Xotiq Foods website features a real time audio download – so you can listen on your MP3 player while cooking – of step by step instructions, videocasts, and quick cooking guides. All dinner kits serve two generous portions, cost just £5.49 and can be purchased online or from selected retailers. Online orders are dispatched within 24 hours.

I would just like to say that this is very useful especially for us dinner group enthusiasts since we sometimes run out of ideas on what to serve for dinner aside from the usual cuisine. thanks!

I used to buy xotiq kits on line , but can’t find the website anymore . Are they out of business, do they have retail outlets. Just cooked an awful meal with a waitrose jar of paste. Why do we have to put up with mediocrity- why if xotiq can do it- why can’t supermarkets stock it. Do you know of any other alternatives
This post is from 2008 so perhaps, Margaret, the company hasnt lasted…
