Already considered one of the UK’s best food festivals, Feast of Dorset, returns for its third year to the beautiful hidden estate, Deans Court in Wimborne on the weekend of 17th-18th September 2011.

The magical event attracting thousands of visitors who all love the idea of a ‘feast’; whether it be food, entertainment, colourful activities or knowledge, will host many of the popular features for which the event has achieved high acclaim on a national scale.

Over 100 exhibits and displays are expected to showcase the West Country’s rich choice of produce including cheeses, chocolate, organic vegetables, breads and meats as well as wines, teas and other mouth-watering delicacies. Promoting sustainability in rural communities, previous visitors have commented on the event’s surprisingly broad range of foods available from across the immediate region.

Demonstrations by celebrity chefs, fun and games for the children, and opportunities to indulge in an outdoor fine dining experience or the alternative Barbecue ‘Pit Roast’ adds to the luxe atmosphere of the weekend, all set in an enchanted garden coloured with tepees and bohemian tents.

Celebrity chef and restaurateur, Mark Hix judged the event in its inaugural year (2009) as the Independent Magazine’s Best UK Food Festival and it continues to grow year on year.
