Louisiana Jam Cocktail

With the festive season now in full swing, many of us will be looking forward to a host of festive parties and get- togethers. But how do you make sure yours stands out from the crowd?

Well you could start by stopping thinking of spirits as the dusty bottles in the cupboard and thinking beyond serving your guests beer and wine.

Celebrity mixologist Giles Looker invented the Southern Comfort Louisiana Jam at a party when his friend asked him to make a cocktail with whatever he could find in the kitchen.

The remnants of a jar of apricot jam, plenty of ice, a dash of Southern Comfort and a couple of twists later and he had this latest invention.

In the following video Giles shows you can see exactly how to make this great winter drink for your guests this Christmas.
