Fortnum & Mason’s New Website
As Fortnum & Mason enters its 302nd year, the online store has re-launched at www.fortnumandmason.com with a new look.
The refreshed site brings the delights and treats of the real Piccadilly to the laptops of anyone, anywhere in the world an easy and enjoyable shopping experience. (The exception being fresh foods and alcohol, which are obviously only available for UK delivery.) Whether you need a gorgeous wine and the ingredients for Sunday dinner; a tin of Fortmason tea for your homesick sister in Brazil; a hamper to ensure your nephew has at least one decent meal at university or some inspiration for Uncle George’s birthday gift, the Fortnum’s online store has everything you could possibly want and few things you never knew you needed! There are suggestions abound and a gift finder for anyone who needs help.
A new addition to the site is a series of short films of the store and the restaurants, helping visitors from anywhere in the world view the interior of 181 Piccadilly and choose which of the 5 Fortnum’s restaurants: 1707 Wine Bar, The Fountain, The Gallery, The Parlour and St James’s Restaurant, best suits their needs. Each restaurant page also gives details of the menus, opening hours and the latest offers on each.
Visitors can also plan their visit to store to tie in with one of the hundreds of events Fortnum’s host from chocolate and wine tastings to story-tellings and chef demonstrations like Valentine Warner’s recent visit. All events are listed on the website.
No need to harness the coach and horses to visit Piccadilly, just your keyboard and mouse.
